Welcome to MEA. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for riders of all ages.
To ensure the smooth running of lessons, camps, and competitions, we kindly ask all riders and
parents/guardians to review and follow these Terms & Conditions.

1. Training & Attendance

  • Lesson packages are valid for:

    • 1 month if attending twice per week.

    • 2 months if attending once per week.

  • Missed lessons are non-refundable.

  • After three consecutive absences, the rider will be removed from the schedule until re-registered.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early; late arrivals cannot join once a class has started.

  • All training fees must be paid in advance. Payments are non-refundable once registration is complete.

  • Delayed payments may result in suspension of lessons until the balance is cleared.

2. Rider Equipment & Attire

  • Helmets are mandatory for all riders.

  • Riders must wear suitable breeches/pants and riding boots. Shorts, sports shoes, or sandals are not permitted.

  • Gloves, chaps, and the Academy T-shirt are recommended for comfort and consistency.

  • Official MEA uniform is required during workshops and competitions.

3. Health & Safety

  • All riders must disclose any medical conditions or allergies during registration.

  • Riding is a physical activity with inherent risks. MEA is not liable for injuries or accidents that may occur during training, camps, or competitions.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for children under 18.

  • Emergency contact details must be provided at registration.

4. Mandatory Workshops

  • Riders participating in Dressage, Show Jumping, or Endurance must complete the discipline-specific workshop before entering competitions.

  • Workshops cover: federation rules, horse welfare, rider safety, and theoretical + practical assessments.

5. Competitions & Participation

  • A competition fee of 20 BD applies (separate from registration or test fees).

  • Certificates are awarded after each competition or endurance race.

  • Endurance riders:

    • Registration fee: 105 BD (excluding race fees).

    • Riders must commit to three training sessions per week for at least one month prior to competing.

    • Member rates apply only after six months of continuous training.

    • Non-Bahraini riders must provide written authorization from their national federation.

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made 12–24 hours in advance to reschedule.

  • Supporting documents (e.g., medical note) may be required for illness or emergencies.

  • Failure to attend without notice may result in a 40% cancellation fee.

7. Payments

  • All payments must be made in advance.

  • Fees are non-refundable once registration is confirmed.

  • Outstanding balances will result in suspension of lessons until full payment is made.
